Questions about redemption codes and logging in

Where do I find the streaming video redemption code?

For video purchases in streaming format: Find your instructions in an email sent to you upon completion of your purchase. 

For study guides with streaming video: Look for your code printed on the inside front cover of your study guide. You may have to scratch off the foil covering to reveal the code underneath. 

For eBooks with streaming video: Look for your code provided on the first or last page of the eBook. If the code area is blank, email Redeem@StudyGateway.com to request your code. 

For DVDs with streaming video: Look for the code inside the DVD case, imprinted on the paper insert. 

With all redemption code inquiries, email Redeem@StudyGateway.com.

Oops! I'm getting "Invalid code"

Verify you are entering the correct characters; some letters and numbers look similar and use of incorrect characters may be causing the error message. For example, B vs. 8, S vs. 5, and W vs. VV. If you still receive an error message, please send a photo of your code to Redeem@StudyGateway.com. for assistance.

Oops! I'm getting "Duplicate code"

The code you entered has already been used, perhaps by yourself on a previous try! If you have already redeemed your code, you can now log in using your email and password. To request a new code, email Redeem@StudyGateway.com.

Oops! I'm getting "This email has already been taken."

This message appears if you’ve previously redeemed a code or subscribed to Study Gateway. Before you try to redeem your code, FIRST login to your old account,* THEN proceed to StudyGateway.com/redeem and re-enter your code. 

*Can’t remember your password? Click Forgot your password?  

Oops! I'm getting "These credentials do not match our records."

This message pops up when you have entered either an email address or a password that is different from what is on your account. If you can’t recall how you logged in before, click Forgot your password? 

Questions about finding my videos and my free account

I'm trying to watch my videos, but it keeps saying "Sign up now" or "Start free trial." I thought my videos were free!

You’re right, your videos are included, and there is no extra charge required to access them. To find your particular videos, first make sure you’re logged in , then go to the Library (at the top of the page), and look in the Purchases tab. There you will find any studies for which you have redeemed a code, plus you’ll find Study Gateway Open, which is a collection of over 60 first sessions that you can watch for free.  

What's Study Gateway Open? I see it on my Purchases list in the Library.

In addition to the video sessions you have access to through a redemption code, you have been given free access to Study Gateway Open, where you get to watch the first sessions of over sixty studies, plus two complete marriage studiespermanently! You can watch the sessions in Study Gateway Open as many times as you want. Locate the Study Gateway Open product in your Library, on the Purchases tab. 

What's the difference between this and Study Gateway's paid subscription?

With your account, you have access to the video series you redeemed a code for, plus Study Gateway Open. If you want access to the entire video Bible study library, we offer monthly or annual subscriptions for your personal use, small groups, or churches.

Questions about watching videos with others

Can I play videos from my personal account for my in-person small group?

Yes! You are welcome to play Study Gateway videos for your group from your personal account, using one of the methods described above (from your computer, tablet, or TV).

Can our online small group watch this together on Zoom?

Streaming videos are a great resource for a Zoom Bible study, but you might not want to actually watch the videos together on Zoom. For one thing, the video can jump from frame to frame and be uncomfortable to watch. Another concern is Zoom fatigue – it’s real! Rather than extending your Zoom time to watch a video during your meeting, consider making Zoom a “talk-only zone,” and have everyone watch the videos on their own ahead of time. 

Can I share my redemption code with anyone? How about my login?

Your redemption code can only be redeemed once, and its sole purpose is to allow you to set up your login to your personal account. 

Your account is intended for your own personal use, and allows you to be logged into up to three devices at once.  One benefit of having your own account is that every time you log in, you will see what you were watching last, and you can click to start watching where you left off. If you share your login with others, you will lose that continuity, and your viewing history will be interrupted by those who are sharing your account.

If I can't share my login, can I get extra codes to give to my friends so they can watch these videos too?

Yes! 

If you bought a study guide with streaming videos: Redemption codes are available only with the purchase of a study guide, so have your friends buy their own copies of the study guide to get their redemption code. 

If you bought a DVD with streaming videos: Up to ten additional codes are available upon request. Email Redeem@StudyGateway.com to request the number of codes you need for your group. 

If you bought videos in streaming format: Up to ten redemption codes are available with your purchase. Email Redeem@StudyGateway.com. to request the number of codes you need for your group.
